I earned a B.S. in Fashion and Interior Design from The Ohio State University. My family owned a very profitable restaurant supply business expanding into 4 cities including Hilton Head, Columbia, Charleston SC and Asheville, NC for over 17 years.
I specialized in commercial restaurant design and furnishings. I was very proud to be one of the first women to obtain the highest level of CFSP level 1status in that industry. After selling out of the family business I obtained my SC Real Estate license and decided to partner with realtors in the growing home staging segment of the industry by using a Feng Shui approach to staging.
I am also one of the first in the country to obtain a Feng Shui Practioners Red Ribbon Certification, CFSP, Certified Feng Shui Staging, CFSS, and also completed a 3 week trip to China in Advanced Feng Shui study in 2009.
I am setting the standard by being one of the first 40 stagers in the nation to complete the RESA- PRO designation. I attended the First Annual International RESA Staging Convention in Las Vegas January 2010 and am also active in the local Low Country RESA Chapter.
My passion of giving back to the community is through volunteer work for the Florence Area Humane Society and The Executive Board of Directors for the Pee Dee Area Boys and Girls Clubs.
With a huge inventory of props I have the ability to stage empty homes. I have also had great success staging occupied homes and executing re-design work to get the sellers top dollar. I love helping people and can tackle any job large or small. Over the past three years staging I have had numerous staging real estate clients, satisfied home sellers and buyers! Many home buyers contract me to re-design and help them get settled in their new homes.
Another niche market that I have had great success with is moving clients into Assisted Living Facilities. Downsizing is always a challenge. As more baby boomers become empty nester's they are often moving to smaller homes. They are sometimes faced with moving parents and relatives to residential care or assisted living homes. This is a valued service that takes a special talent! I can assist with the downsizing transition to make things easier on the family and friends.
